Protecting a very expensive coffee machine
The owners had one clear priority: looking after their high-end coffee machine. The manufacturer’s warranty specifies that the water going into the machine must be filtered and stay within very specific mineral and hardness parameters. Hard water and scale build-up are the enemy of any coffee machine, so getting the water right at the source was the best way to protect the investment and keep the warranty in good standing.
DuraScale X was the right fit. It targets limescale and calcium build-up without a traditional water softener, salt or brine tank, so every tap in the house benefits, not just the kitchen.
Tucked neatly behind the side gate
The system was mounted on the brick wall in the narrow side passage, just behind the side gate. It’s out of the way, but still easy to reach when it’s time for a filter change. We supplied and installed it on copper pipework with isolation valves, so future servicing is quick and tidy.
