After relying on tank water for many years, these rural Dunsborough homeowners recently became more aware of the contaminants that can enter an untreated rainwater supply.

Treating the water before it reaches the house
The Ultra V Pro 3 combines three important stages of treatment:
- A grooved sediment pre-filter to capture dirt, silt and larger particles
- UV disinfection to help reduce bacteria and other microorganisms without adding chemicals
- A 0.5-micron carbon block filter to improve taste, odour and water clarity
Every litre passes through the UV chamber before reaching the final carbon filtration stage, providing a thorough treatment process between the tank and the home.

We mounted the Ultra V Pro 3 securely in the corner and connected it directly to the house pressure pump. This created a compact set-up while keeping the filter housings, UV controller, pressure gauges and isolation valves accessible for servicing.
The completed installation makes good use of the available space and treats the tank water before it is pumped throughout the property.
