We recently completed the annual service on two of our Ultra V Pro 3 systems at the same rural property in Carbunup River.
What the annual service includes
Each Ultra V Pro 3 combines multi-stage filtration with UV sterilisation to treat rainwater and bore water. Once a year, the cartridges need replacing to keep the filtration working at its best, and the UV lamp needs replacing too, as its output drops over time even while it’s still glowing. On this visit we replaced the filter cartridges and the UV lamp on both systems.
Proof they’re doing the job
As you can see from the photos, these filters have definitely been doing their job. The used cartridges show it clearly, especially the sediment filters, which have turned brown after capturing a year’s worth of sediment and debris before it could reach the house.

That’s everything that would otherwise have ended up in the drinking water, showers and appliances. With fresh cartridges and new UV lamps in place, both systems are set for another twelve months of clean, safe water.
Keeping two systems on one property in check
Larger rural properties often have more than one water supply point, such as a main house and a second dwelling or shed. Booking the filter maintenance and servicing for both systems at the same visit keeps everything on the same schedule and makes it simple for the owners.
